Sarnia woman charged with assault in Corunna incident

Lambton OPP have charged a Sarnia woman after a disturbance at a Corunna residence over the weekend.

Officers responded to the call at around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.

According to police, no injuries were reported.

However, a 49-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats and being unlawfully in dwelling.

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Sarnia Court on April 14.
