A third individual involved in the collision sustained minor injuries.
Police reported the initial collision over social media at 3 p.m., noting that Aberarder Line and Lakeshore would be closed for several hours as a result.
Roads were reopened around 8:30 p.m., at which point OPP shared that two people had been pronounced dead.

A Sarnia woman says the Ronald McDonald House in London was "a haven" for her and her husband while their newborn son, Myles, stayed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The woman has been charged with careless driving and failure to remain, and will appear in court at a later date.
