Witnesses sought in collision involving parked vehicle

Provincial police are looking to speak with anyone who saw a collision in St. Clair Township, in which a driver allegedly hit a parked vehicle and took off. 

The two-vehicle collision was reported on May 9, at around 10:15 a.m., on Main Street in Courtright.

Lambton OPP said an orange four-door SUV reversed out of a driveway and struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked on the road.

The SUV driver allegedly left the scene and was last seen travelling southbound on St. Clair Parkway.

Police said a witness notified the truck driver of what happened, but left before officers arrived.

Investigators are looking to speak with the witness, as well as anyone else who may have seen the collision.
