Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the area.
The yellow alert explained that area could see up to 90-kilometre-an-hour winds, 30 to 50 millimetres of rain, and dime-sized hail due to a line of thunderstorms between Amherstburg and Brigden.
The severe thunderstorm warning was out in place for both Sarnia and Windsor. It has since ended for Sarnia.
Environment Canada reminds people to take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches.
The warning was put into effect around 1 p.m. on Sunday.
