Road closures scheduled for Black Creek Bridge replacement

A portion of Marthaville Road, just north of Oil Springs Line, will be closed for nearly five months for the replacement of the Black Creek Bridge.

Work on the $2.6 million project is expected to begin as early as July 1.

In April, the Township of Enniskillen awarded Cope Construction & Contracting Inc. the tender to undertake the work.

The township said there will be a detour in place utilizing Oil Springs Line to Mandaumin Road to Courtright Line.

It said Marthaville Road will be open for emergency and local traffic only between 2669 Marthaville Road and Courtright Line.

The planned closure and detour will be in place until the project is complete in late November 2026.
