A promotional schedule has been released by the Sarnia Sting ahead of the 2026-27 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) season.
The home opener takes place October 2 against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, while rivalry week will bring the London Knights to Progressive Auto Sales Arena (PASA) on October 21.
The Sting will celebrate Halloween at the Hive on October 30, Lambton College Lions night on November 4, Remembrance Day on November 8, Special Olympics Night on November 22, and Country Night on November 27.
The popular Teddy Bear Toss will take place the night of November 29, the Toy Drive is December 11, and Christmas at the Hive is scheduled for December 13.
Other highlights include the Boys Silverstick Finals on January 15, the Battle of the Badges on January 23, the Family Day game being held February 15, Indigenous Heritage Night on February 21, and Fan-O-Palooza the night of March 17.
The Sting have five preseason games, including on September 5 and September 11 against Flint and London, respectively.
The Sting open their regular season on September 19 in Sault St. Marie.
