Residents in Lambton Shores are being asked to conserve water.
A notice was posted to the municipality's social media pages Tuesday morning, asking residents to temporarily reduce non-essential water use and conserve water where possible.
The notice said the water supply to the municipality has been temporarily reduced because of an emergency pipeline replacement at the Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant.
Residents are asked to postpone activities that use larger amounts of water, such as laundry, watering lawns and gardens, or taking longer showers.
"We appreciate everyone’s cooperation while this work is underway and will provide an update when normal water use can resume," read the notice.
In Grand Bend, residents may also notice lower than normal water pressure, and municipal splashpads will be closed on Tuesday.
Additionally, bulk water filling stations across the municipality have been closed until further notice.
Pinery Provincial Park has closed its washrooms for public safety because of the low water pressure. The park store and restaurant are also closed.
