It happened at around 4:45 a.m. at a business in the retail plaza between Finch Drive and Exmouth Street.
Firefighters were still on scene after 9 a.m. and the area was cordoned off with police tape.
Further details were not immediately available, and fire officials said moving forward the incident is considered a police matter.
