The alert was put in place at roughly 2 p.m. on Saturday.
While the yellow severe thunderstorm warning has ended, an orange severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for some areas in Ontario.

Police said Christopher Musson was last seen on July 13 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in the area of Christina Street and Talfourd Street in Sarnia.

The temporary fire bans have been issued to help reduce smoke and protect the health and safety of residents during the ongoing air quality event.
As of Friday morning, Race Director Hayley Walker said the races were still a go. The final call will be based on the air quality the morning of the event.
Sarnia Fire and Rescue and Lambton EMS were called just after 6 a.m. Friday about a person trapped inside a waste collection vehicle.
