Lambton County's most popular tourist beach has been posted as unsafe for swimming.
Lambton Public Health said on Wednesday, July 22 that warning signs had been posted at Grand Bend's north and south beaches.
Following heavy rainfall and high winds, the water at area beaches may be temporarily polluted with high levels of bacteria for up to 48 hours.
Ipperwash Main Beach, Bright's Grove (including Mike Weir Park), and Canatara Park beaches have received an all clear using predictive models.
Pinery Provincial Park and Highland Glen Park are monitored weekly through water sampling with lab analysis. They were last inspected on July 13 and were given an all clear at the time.
It is advised that you check the water quality status before you head out to the beach.
