Fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine were seized in a three month long drug trafficking investigation.
The Anishinabek Police Service (APS) launched the investigation in May, and on Tuesday, July 21, officers stopped a vehicle of interest in Lambton Shores.
During a search, officers seized seven grams of suspected fentanyl and over 50 hydromorphone tablets.
The 57-year-old driver and a 43-year-old passenger, both from Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police said the investigation led to the identification of a residence of interest in Sarnia.
With support from the Sarnia Police Service (SPS) Emergency Response Team and the K9 Unit, APS executed a search warrant at the home.
Officers located 97 grams of suspected fentanyl, 101 grams of suspected cocaine, 182 codeine pills, suspected methamphetamine, cell phones, and over 50 .22 calibre rounds.
Two Sarnia men, 54 and 49 years old, face several charges including possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking and careless use of a firearm. Both men were released on an undertaking.
The investigation is ongoing.
