Strathroy police seek help identifying suspect in Shoppers Drug Mart distraction theft

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service is circulating a photo of a male suspect they would like help identifying.

In a post to social media, police said the man allegedly committed a distraction-style theft of approximately $720 from the Shoppers Drug Mart on Front Street East on July 19.

He is described as six feet tall with a beard and glasses.

At the time of the incident, the man had tattoos on his left cheek and neck but investigators believe they may have been temporary tattoos.

Anyone able to recognize the individual, or with information that may assist investigators, is asked to call the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service at 519-245-1250.

Helicopters to be used in military training

Members of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command will conduct routine training around Muskoka, Meaford, Bruce Peninsula, Sarnia, and Cockburn Island from July 27 to July 30.
