Sarnia Fire Rescue was called to the Lakeshore Road and Egmond Drive area at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, August 2, for reports that a vehicle had hit a hydro pole.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was taken to local hospital as a precaution.
Lakeshore Road between Egmond Drive and Beach Lane is temporarily closed while Bluewater Power works to stabilize and replace the damaged hydro pole.
