Copper wiring stolen from St. Clair Twp. business

Lambton OPP are searching for those responsible for stealing copper from a business property in St. Clair Township.

Police said it happened on Rokeby Line sometime between 5 p.m. on July 27 and 8 a.m. on July 28.

The suspects allegedly gained access to the property by cutting a hole in the perimeter fence before stealing copper wiring and lightning rods.

The estimated value of the stolen property is around $8,000 and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the time of the incident, or who has camera footage or other information, is asked to call Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
