Nominations are still being accepted for the The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce's annual Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (OBAAs).
They recognize and celebrate excellence in the local business community, highlighting those that show outstanding innovation, leadership, and achievement.
The 12 categories are Member of the Year, Non-profit of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Medium Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service for an Individual, Young Professional, Innovation, Agri-business, Inclusivity and Green Business.
Libro Credit Union is the title sponsor for a 16th year.
In 2025, John Degroot took home Member of the Year and Large Business of the Year went to Bluewater Power Group of Companies.
Nominations can be filed on the Chamber's website until 11:59 p.m. on August 14.
Successful nominees will be highlighted during the awards gala, scheduled to take place at Four Points by Sheraton on October 23.
Tickets are available for $115 for an individual and $875 (+HST) for a table of eight.
