Hydro One crews are working on infrastructure improvements this week in the northern and west-central parts of Lambton County.
Customers in Camlachie, Highland Glen, and Kettle Point have recently been affected by a handful of power outages.
The utility said on Monday, July 20, a motor vehicle crash knocked out power to customers at Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
There was an unexpected outage on Friday, August 7 from 11 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. in Camlachie due to unknown causes.
On Monday, August 10 equipment failure knocked out power to customers in Plympton-Wyoming including Camlachie from 6:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.
The next day on Tuesday, August 11, Hydro One said there was another outage in Camlachie from 7 a.m. until around 7:40 a.m. due to an animal coming into contact with electricity equipment.
There were also planned outages for the installation of new equipment on July 20 and July 28 in Kettle Point.
In an email to Sarnia News Today, Hydro One said it understands how difficult it is to be without power.
Since the outages in early August, Hydro One crews have patrolled the area and identified required repairs.
Restoration work is underway and is expected to wrap up by next week.
