A substantial amount of cocaine and meth was seized in a recent drug bust in Sarnia.
On August 10, members of the Sarnia Police Service (SPS) Emergency Response Team (ERT), K9 Unit, and drug unit executed a search warrant at a home on Confederation Line near Mandaumin Road.
During the search of the home and a vehicle, police seized 176 grams of cocaine, 133 grams of methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, $27,270 in Canadian currency and a loaded .40 caliber Glock 27 handgun.
Police said two men were taken into custody without incident.
A 35-year-old from Scarborough is charged with numerous firearms-related offences, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
A 52-year-old from Sarnia is also charged with possession of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Both men were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
