Investigators are hoping a newly established tip line will help in an ongoing fraud investigation concerning London's hospital network.
The London Police Service launched an investigation in October 2024 after London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) brought forward allegations of fraudulent financial activity.
OPP and the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) -- a dedicated initiative led by OPP and the Ministry of the Attorney General -- have joined the investigation due to its complexity and the specialized resources required.
"Information from the public can be critical in complex fraud investigations. We encourage anyone who may have information to come forward, no matter how minor it may seem," said SFO and OPP Det. Supt. Jennifer Spurrell in a media release. "Even small details can play an important role in advancing the investigation."
