The Sarnia Sting's Ironworks Fitness Training Camp kicks off this week, roughly three weeks before the 2026-2027 OHL season begins.
The organization said the camp will provide an opportunity for Sting players and prospects to compete, build chemistry, and prepare for the season ahead.
On-ice sessions will start on Tuesday, and intrasquad games will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. The camp schedule can be found below.
Training camp will end with the Black and White Game on Friday, held in support of the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton.
Fans are encouraged to attend the 6 p.m. game and get an early look at the possible team. Rosters are expected to be published this week.
“I’m really excited about the additions Dylan [Seca] and our management team have made," said Sting Head Coach Mathieu Turcotte in a media release. "We’re looking forward to getting everyone together at the camp, competing, and getting to work,”
Donations for the United Way will be collected at Gate 2 and Gate 5. Select concession stands will also be open during the Black and White Game.
The Sarnia Sting will start the regular season against Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday, September 19. The Sting's first home game at Progressive Auto Sales Arena will be held on Friday, October 2 against the Greyhounds.
Regular season games will be broadcast on Big Country 103.9.
