Researchers confirm EF0 waterspout near Ipperwash Beach

A waterspout was recently confirmed in Lambton County.

Western University's Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP) said the tornado over water happened on Sunday, August 23.

At around 7:40 p.m., the EF0 tornado was captured on video over Lake Huron, near Ipperwash Beach.

No damage was reported.

NTP previously confirmed three other waterspouts earlier the same day, two of them over Lake Ontario south of Grafton.

The third was captured on video over Lake Erie, east of Pelee Island.
