The Sarnia Police Service shared details of Don McDonald at around 9:40 a.m., after he was last seen on Monday, August 31, at around 6:30 p.m., near Bluewater Health.
In an update posted shortly after 11 a.m., police said McDonald was found safe. As such, his photo has been removed from the story.
Point Edward Fire and Rescue along with Lambton OPP and Lambton EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash at around 8 a.m. on the eastbound highway, at Front Street North.
A maroon Dodge Ram 1500, was located and found unoccupied when emergency responders arrived.
