LPH seeks dog, owner in Sarnia biting incident

Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident in Sarnia.

It happened at around 8:15 p.m. on Monday, September 14, on 191 Indian Road South directly outside of Food Basics.

The dog is described as a medium-to-large dog with a pink/purple collar.

It has short fur that is mostly black with white fur on chest, paws, and snout.

The owner is described as a White male with short, dark brown hair, who appeared to be around 5' 8" tall.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
