Local families looking for Friday night plans are invited to pack up their lawn chairs and blankets for a free outdoor movie event at Centennial Park.
Lambton Public Health's annual smoke-free and vape-free community evening is being held in partnership with the City of Sarnia.
The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with family-friendly activities before the featured presentation, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, lights up the big screen at dusk.
The pre-show activity zone, features bouncy castles, temporary tattoos, and complimentary popcorn provided by the Sarnia-Lambton Golden K Kiwanis Club.
The event serves as a platform for Lambton Public Health’s "Talk Early, Talk Often" campaign.
The initiative encourages parents and guardians to open up ongoing conversations with youth regarding healthy choices, particularly around the risks associated with smoking and vaping.
Organizers remind attendees that the entire event footprint at Centennial Park is designated as smoke and vape-free.
