The Plympton-Wyoming Special Events Committee is hoping families will have a "spooktacular" time at this weekend's Halloween party.
Town of Plympton-Wyoming CAO Adam Sobanski said the event has continued to grow in popularity.
"We've seen well over 100 people each year, and that has been growing. We're probably expecting close to 200 this year, if not more," he told Sarnia News Today.
The Halloween Spooktacular Event will be held at the Camlachie Community Centre on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"Probably the highlight of the event will be Rumple and Friends, who will be performing a show at 12:30 p.m. It includes magic, comedy, and interaction with the audience," said Sobanski. "They are quite well-regarded in the children's entertainment area."
The family-friendly event is free to the community.
"There will be free treats for everyone, a costume contest," he said. "We definitely could not have done this without the support of our special events committee and the Huron Shores Optimists."
The costume contest will be held at 12 p.m.
