Mooretown Minor Hockey Celebrates New Identity

Its a big night in Mooretown as the minor hockey association celebrates new jerseys and a new identity.

Players from the newly named Jr. Flags and Lady Flags are asked to come early to tonight's Mooretown Jr. C game to get an on ice group picture.

Minor Hockey Executive Jasen Taylor says they wanted to change the name to coincide with the town's junior team.

They are planning to take the picture no later than 6:45pm, prior to the 7:30pm puck drop.

They will also be holding a canned food drive in support of opperation Christmas Tree

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
