GOJHL Season Ends For The Legionnaires

The season is over for the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Tyler Prong and Nathan Mater scored in a losing cause as Sarnia lost 4-2 in LaSalle.

Mitch Read, Davis Boyer, Hunter Tyczynski and P. J. Vandervaart picked up assists.

Sarnia goalie Andrew Masters turned aside 46 shots while the Legionnaires had 33 shots on LaSalle tender Paolo Battisti.

The Vipers win the GOJHL Western Conference semifinal four games to two and will meet Leamington in the Conference final.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
