Jillian Drouin 12th After Opening Day of Pan Am Heptathlon

Corunna's Jillian Drouin is 12th after the first day of the women's heptathlon at the Pan Am Games.

She was disqualified for a false start in the 100 metre hurdles, placed second in the high jump, seventh in the shot put and twelfth in the 200 metres. Jillian's brother Derek competes in the mens high jump Saturday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
