Local Forward At Camp With Sea Dogs

Bright's Grove native Sean Ginnell will be at camp with the QMJHL's Saint John Sea Dogs.

He is one of eight players from Ontario vying for a roster spot.

The 1997-born forward played last year with the Lambton Jr Sting AAA Major Midget, scoring 14 points in 20 games.

Camp begins today with the team's first exhibition game set for Saturday, August 15 against the Charlottetown Islanders.

Last season Saint John's had eight players on their roster from Ontario, including former Sarnia Sting Justice Dundas.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
