Round One Wraps Up At Women's Championship

Judith Kyrinis and Terrill Samuel both shot a 3-under 68 to share the lead at both the Canadian Women's Senior and Mid-Amateur Championship.

Strathroy's Jane Hedges-Mckinnon opened with a 6-over an sits 18th, while Sarnia's Cherie Armstrong finished the first round with an 11-over 82.

Second round action gets underway from the Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa at 7:30am. Armstrong begins her day at 8:14am, Hedges-McKinnon has 9:53am tee off.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
