High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

<p>The third leg of the Sarnia Sting's community tour is Tuesday, January 12 in Pt. Edward.
 
Sting Communications Manager Dach Hiller says this follows stops in Mooretown December 15, 2015 and Thedford October 27, 2015.
 
He says the team will hold a regular practice from 6:30 until 8pm, with a free skate with Sting players to follow.
 
The tour, in conjunction with Badder Bus and Scotiabank, is into its second year.
 
Hiller says there will be a kiosk on site where fans can buy Sting merchandise and tickets for upcoming games.</p><p>
Travis Konecny, Pavel Zacha and Nikita Korostelev will be signing autographs from 7:30 until 8pm.</p>
