Pacers Split Weekend Games

Pt Edward fell to 2-4 on the season after splitting a pair of games over the weekend.

After starting the season 0-3 the Pacers picked up their second straight win Saturday, beating St. Catharines 8-7.

Coming into Sunday's game on a modest two game winning streak, the Pacers allowed just two goals through two periods.

But things changed in the third.

The home team's 3-2 lead didn't last long as they surrendered eight goals in the final period en route to the 10-4 loss. The Regals scored seven straight to begin the final frame until captain Liam Wright finally stopped the bleeding, scoring his sixth goal in his fifth game of the season.

The Pacers are off until the weekend where they have a pair of home games, hosting Owen Sound Saturday and Niagara Sunday at Pt Edward Arena.
