Pacers Complete Comeback Win

The Pt. Edward Pacers are tied for top spot in the Far West division following a huge come from behind win over Wallaceburg last night.

The Pacers trailed 8-4 heading into the final period but rallied six third period goals to pull off the comeback.

Liam Wright scored three times in the third, including the game winner with under three minutes left. Capping off a seven point performance for the Pacers captain.

He says they showed a lot of character staying in the game despite being down.

"In situations like that in the past we've gotten to each other and been pretty negative, but we stayed positive and knew what we had to do," says Wright. "We're staying disciplined, the guys are really working hard."

Pt. Edward hosts Windsor Friday, with both teams tied atop the division with eight points, although the Pacers have played four more games.

A win Friday would get them back to the .500 mark.
