Sting Add Defenceman From Bowling Green

The Sarnia Sting have added Free Agent defenceman Jordan Ernst to the hockey club.

The Illinois native split last year between the Madison Capitals (USHL) and Bowling Green State University (NCAA).

He was chosen fifth overall by Madison in the 2015 USHL draft.

In a team press release, General Manager Nick Sinclair says the addition of Ernst will help the club's blue line for next season.

We are very excited that Jordan has made the decision to join our Hockey Club for the upcoming season," says Sinclair. "Given his on-ice capabilities and experience; we believe that he will be a solid contributor to our group."

The 1997 born defenceman is listed 6"2' 205 lbs.
