Toronto scored 21 runs in winning its previous two games but did not manage an extra-base hit against the Phillies. The Tigers let their lead slip away in Chicago as the White Sox rallied from seven runs down in a wild 10-9 victory. Jordan Zimmermann starts for Detroit as the series continues tonight in Chicago.

NBA LeBron James and Kyrie Irving each scored 41 points to lift Cleveland to a 112-97 victory over Golden State in Game five of the NBA Finals. James added 16 rebounds to help the Cavaliers stay alive in the series and force a Game six in Cleveland on Thursday night.

NFL Standout defensive tackle Fletcher Cox has agreed to a six-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles that could earn him in excess of $100 million. The 25-year-old Cox is coming off his best NFL season with 104 tackles and 9.5 sacks.

NHL The Detroit Red Wings and the family of hockey legend Gordie Howe are encouraging fans to attend a public visitation at Joe Louis Arena. Gordie Howe died Friday at the age of 88. He led the Red Wings to four Stanley Cups during his 25 years with the team.

The public visitation is scheduled from 9am until 9pm today. The Howe family will greet the public at the arena. Gordie Howe's body will lie in state inside the arena bowl.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
