AUDIO: Cole Thompson Continues To Build On Impressive Season

The strong summer season for Brigden's Cole Thompson continues after another first place finish, this time at the Gopher Dunes in Courtland, Ontario.

It’s the closest Thompson will come to home on the 2016 Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals circuit.

Thompson, with KTM Canada Thor Racing, leads the MX2 class (250cc) with 290 points through four rounds, 65 points more than the next best rider.

The 23-year-old finished second at the season opener in Kamloops, but it has been nothing but first place finishes for Thompson in the four rounds since.

The series now shifts to Ulverton, Quebec for the sixth round of the ten round cirtcuit, which wraps up August 14 in Barrie.
