Alvinston Indians Host Canadian Junior Teams

World class fastball comes to Alvinston Monday evening.

The Indians will host an exhibition doubleheader against the Canadian Junior Men's National Team.

Two local players who play for Alvinston are on the Canadian team that will compete at the Junior Men's U19 World Championship from July 24-30 in Midland, Michigan

Cole Pavey and Robbie Black will showcase their team in front of friends and family.

The Junior Indians play the first game at 7pm following the second game with the Senior Indians at 8:30pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
