Great Lakes Kicks Off Football Season With Win

Great Lakes Secondary School opened the 2016 Senior Football Season with a 25-14 win over Wallaceburg Thursday afternoon.

Josh Kita, Jake Williams and Rory Pickle all scored touchdowns for Great Lakes.

Northern takes on St. Pat's this afternoon with a 5:30 kick off at Norm Perry Park. The Vikings and Irish will square off in Junior Boys Football beforehand at 3pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
