Lions Edge Mountaineers In Men's Soccer

The Lambton College Men's Soccer team improved to 2-3 on the season with a 1-0 win over Mohawk in OCAA action Wednesday.

Alasdair Coy scored on a free kick in the 62nd minute, and Zack Moniz recorded the clean slate for the Lions

The men and women are on the road against Redeemer University College this weekend. The men's team shut out Redeemer 3-0 earlier this season, the women's team dropped a 2-1 decision to the Royals.

In preseason action, the men's basketball team dropped an 85-80 decision in overtime to the University of Windsor.

Branden Padgett lead the Lions with 31 points, Jason Marshall had 11 points.

The men's and women's teams open up the regular season next week at St. Clair College.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
