Flyers Win Streak Snapped In Wheatley

The Petrolia Flyers had their three game win streak snapped in Wheatley Monday night. Kirklin Dorman scored the lone Flyer goal in an 8-1 loss. Petrolia is third in the Stobbs Division with a 3-3 record, one point ahead of the Mooretown Flags, who are 2-3-0-1.

Kole Keating leads the Flyers in points, with four goals and three assists in four games. Ryan Lyle has four goals and four assists in six games to lead the Flags in scoring.

Nest up, Petrolia hosts Blenheim Thursday, Mooretown travels to Lakeshore Friday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
