Sting Sign Jacob Stos

The Sarnia Sting have signed forward Jacob Stos to a Standard Player Agreement and Education Package.

In the 2016 OHL Coaches' Poll, the Lively native was recognized as one of the top body checkers in the league, ahead of the season opener.

Sting GM Nick Sinclair says Stos brings good energy to the locker room.

"We're happy to have come to terms with Jacob and his family, and look forward to his future here in Sarnia. Jacob is a high-energy player who comes to the rink and competes night in and night out," says Sinclair. "He's a guy who's very well liked in the dressing room, and he has certainly earned this opportunity."

Stos was a tenth round pick of the Sting in the 2014. He spent the 2015-16 campaign with the Sarnia Legionnaires, posting 15 points and 141 penalty minutes in 49 games played.
