Predators And Flyers Lose Tuesday night

The Lambton Shores Predators dropped a 7-4 decision to Strathroy last night in GOJHL action.

Strathroy scored three second period goals to lead 4-1 through 40 minutes. A pair of goals from Lambton Shores early in the third period to make things interesting before the Rockets added an empty net goal in the game's final minute.

Marcel Berube, Ethan Sarfati, Owen Routheut and Wes Dobbin scored for the Predators.

Lambton Shores travels to St. Thomas Friday, before hosting the Sarnia Legionnaires Saturday night.

The Legionnaires host St. Mary's Thursday night at Sarnia Arena.

In Provincial Junior Hockey League action from Tuesday evening.

A tough night in Essex for the Petrolia Flyers last night, dropping a 10-0 decision to the 73's. It won't get any easier for the Flyers, when they host first place Blenheim Thursday night.

Mooretown is home to Lakeshore Wednesday night.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
