Campbell Named OCAA Play Of The Week

Madisyn Campbell of the Lambton College Women’s Basketball Team was named the “OCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week” after a pair of impressive showings against Cambrian College in Sudbury this past weekend.

Campbell had 21 points and seven rebounds in Saturday’s game and added another 14 points Sunday, helping the Lions to a pair of victories to open the regular season.

She is currently enrolled in the Nursing Program.

The Lions are back in action in Windsor Friday against St. Clair.

The men open their regular season, while the women look to improve on their 2-0 record.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
