Legionnaires Beat Leamington in OT

The Sarnia Legionnaires come from behind to beat the Leamington Flyers Tuesday night at Sarnia Arena.

Justin VanBuskirk tied the game in the final two minutes and Ben Schoch scored the overtime winner as the Legionnaires beat the Flyers 2-1.

Gaoltender Jorgen Johnson made 25 saves for his eighth win of the season. The victory follows a 4-2 loss to the same Flyers on Sunday.

The game had its fair share of penalty minutes, Sarnia finished with 45 minutes to Leamington's 25. Both teams had seven powerplays, with the Legionnaires capitalizing on one of their opportunities.

The Legionnaires (10-7-0-0) have won four of their last five games and sit fifth in the Western Conference with 20 points. They've won all three overtime games so far this season.

Wednesday evening in the GOJHL, Lambton Shores travels to London and Strathroy is in LaSalle.
