World Series Heading To Game Seven

The World Series will need a seventh and deciding game.

The Chicago Cubs beat Cleveland 9-3 Tuesday night to force game seven Wednesday night from Progressive Field.

Addison Russell hit a grand slam, and had six RBI's, tying him for most in a World Series game. Krys Bryant and Anthony Rizzo also homered in the victory.

Chicago starter Jake Arrieta struck out nine and surrendered a pair of runs in just under six innings of work. Cleveland's Josh Tomlin was roughed up for six runs on six hits, he was pulled with one out in the third inning.

A great pitching match up on tap for Wednesday night. Corey Kluber will make his third start of the World Series for Cleveland, he's starting on just three days rest for the third time this post season. Chicago counters with Kyle Hendrix, who lead the majors in ERA during the regular season.

The Cubs are trying to overcome a 3-1 Series deficit for their first championship since 1908. Cleveland is trying to win their first title since 1948.

It will be the 38th time a decisive game has been needed to settle the Fall Classic.
