Junior Hockey Briefs for November 22

OHL Kitchener's Jeremy Bracco is the OHL player of the week, the Maple Leafs' prospect had five goals and five assists in four games. The Rangers are in town Wednesday night to face the Sting.

Sarnia is on the road this weekend, in Kingston Friday and Ottawa Saturday. Windsor forward Gabriel Vilardi, a top prospect for the 2017 NHL draft, had an emergency appendectomy Monday and is out indefinitely.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
