Chatham fell to LaSalle 3-2 in GOJHL action Wednesday night. Petrolia's Brendan Trottier had a hat trick in London's 12-1 route over St Mary's. The Nationals forward had five goals and 14 assists in November and was the Western Conference Offensive player of the month. -- In the PJHL Wednesday, Mooretown held on to a 3-2 win over Wallaceburg. Petrolia hosts Essex tonight -- The Lambton Jr Sting Minor Midgets played to a 2-2 tie in Chatham-Kent Wednesday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
