Northern Stays Unbeaten In Senior Boys Basketball

The Northern Vikings continued their strong season Thursday afternoon with a dominating 69-32 win over Chatham Kent.

The win improves the Vikings' record to 6-0 on the season, good for first place in the Tier One standings. They've already beat every team in their division, including a victory over second place John McGregor, their only loss of the season so far.

Elsewhere, St. Pat's outscored Ursuline College 16-4 in the final quarter to come from behind and win 59-57.

North Lambton dropped a 46-34 decision to Chatham Christian, and Lambton-Kent beat Blenheim 48-37.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
