High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

At the Sarnia Girls Silverstick tournament in Midget "B" play Sarnia blanked Norfolk 3-0 Sunday morning to advance to the final against South Huron at 3;45pm at the Clearwater Arena.
In the Pee Wee "B" semifinal Sarnia defeated Bluewater 6-1. They'll meet Kincardine in the championship game at 2;15pm at Clearwater.

At the Forest Atom and Bantam Silverstick Lambton Shores shut out Mariposa 3-0 Sunday in the Bantam "B" semi and will face off against Flesherton in the championship game at 3;45pm at the Shores Rec Centre.

The Mooretown Novice Rep Junior Flags will play in the final Sunday against the Ayr Flames at the Detroit International Silverstick Tournament. The game starts at 2;30pm at the Civic Gardens Arena.
