Lambton Jr Sting: Weekend At A Glance

Here's a look at what some Lambton Jr. Sting teams are up to this weekend.

The Major Atoms lost in Windsor Thursday and trail their first round series with the Jr Spitfires 2-1. Game Four will be Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Minor Midgets host Brantford Friday night, they are 2-1 in round robin play with their lone loss coming against Brantford.
Major Peewees are in Sun County, they will host the Panthers Saturday (4:30pm). The first round series is tied 1-1.
Minor Peewees host Elgin-Middlesex Friday.
A pair of home games for the Major Midgets this weekend Saturday (7:30pm) and Sunday (4pm), games one and two of their first round series against Huron Perth.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
