High School Sports For February 7

It's going to be a busy day Tuesday in local high school sports.

In Senior Boys basketball, first place Northern Collegiate (9-0) is at John McGregor (7-1), St Pat's (4-4) hosts Great Lakes (3-5) and LCCVI (6-0) travels to Wallaceburg (6-0) in a match up of two top teams.

The junior teams will all be in action as well.

Senior Girls hockey, North Lambton welcomes Great Lakes this afternoon at the Shores Recreation Centre in Forest. North Lambton is in search for their first win, while the Wolfpack sits at 2-5

Northern and North Lambton meet up in Varsity Boys curling out at the Forest Curling Club.

St Pat's (3-2-1), LCCVI (3-2-1) and Great Lakes (0-4-2) are in action in Senior Girls volleyball.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
